Theme Proposal

For my theme proposal, a couple of the topics really caught my eye and made me think. The first three topics that were brought to my attention were family, education, and crime & justice. Family, has been a huge influence throughout my entire life. There has been struggles, and many ups and downs. One side of my family has always been there for me and the other side not so much. Coming from an extremely big family, there are many stories to tell and many family events to attend to. From the day I was born, there are many stories to tell and think about when it comes to my family. Unlike family influencing me, education is a higher step and that influences the entire world from going to school, to working, to just being with your friends and having fun. Like the saying goes, you always learn something do everyday. There are mean experiences that I've learned just by my teachers and coaches. Education will always be around, till the day the world ends, education will always be around whether it comes from technology or classrooms. Like education, crime and justice will also always be around. Everyday in the newspaper, on television, or even on the radio, crime is always talked about and stories are always being told. Crime will never end, but there will always be newer ways to improve the system so less and less crime happens everyday. Having a father that's a detective, he deals with crime everyday. He investigates all types of crimes everyday. For me, I think that crime and family are the two major topics for me that I can choose from. Out of these three topics I chose from, I think that crime and justice would be something that would be interesting for me to write about. Researching different articals and hearing about different stories to write about would be something that I would stay interested about and not get so bored with it. I could also get different peoples opinions on different stories, and my dad could help me with experiencing different crimes and see the consequences for different people.
